Picking up the car

Yesterday was pick up day and we purchased a 1979 Mercedes in Catharpin, VA (out near the Manassas battle field). We picked up the car from an interesting woman named Kate and her daughter Bess “Zeta-Jones.” Kate does standardized test prep in a business she runs out of her house; a business “she built on her own” (she got political with me).

The car is great and I will be adding some photos shortly of our adventure – oh yeah, and they and a three legged dog that lost its leg because a horse kicked it…and the dog ate its own vomit.

After a long day of car purchasing and AAA schemes, we imbibed, grilled and hottubbed with friends – #Win.
